The arcis_collective aims to merge chamber music and contemporary dance into a unified performance. This vision draws inspiration from chamber music, known for its intimacy, refined form, and emotional depth. The collective is committed to preserving the elegance of chamber music while embracing the modernity, freedom, and individuality of contemporary dance, exploring themes of social and cultural relevance.

The collective transforms musicians into authentic performers, making them an integral part of the theatrical narrative, while providing dancers the opportunity to delve deeper into the musical world, strengthening the connection between the two art forms. It also creates opportunities for composers to write for unique instruments like the saxophone, compose music specifically for dance, and collaborate closely with choreographers.

Choreographers are involved in the creation of music tailored for each performance detail. Another objective is to bring dance to unconventional venues typically dedicated to music, allowing audiences to experience live classical music concerts in spaces not usually associated with dance. This approach helps bridge the gap between these two artistic worlds and promotes site-specific performances.

The collective also fosters the development of theatrical and physical language among resident musicians, and welcomes other interested musicians and dancers to join research meetings with the collective exploring music and body investigation.

Looking ahead, the collective plans to expand collaborations with artists who share its innovative approach to the arts. Together, they have created works such as "HEIMAT" (2020), "2xGETANZT" (2021), "DAVE" (short film), "KNITTING GIRL" (video installation), "K.I.nd of Human" (2022), "2xGETANZT" (2023), "2xGETANZT2024”,"Quirky Nightclub Chronicles" (2024) and “Live Love Arcis” (2024).
