Nach 15 Jahren auf der Spitze der britischen Hip-Hop-Welle mit Zustimmung aller großen Bewegungen im unabhängigen britischen Hip-Hop über die Jahre hinweg, Low Life Records, YNR Productions und jetzt den kolossalen High Focus Records, ist Verb T tatsächlich geblieben. Er ist damals, er ist jetzt und er bleibt so hungrig wie immer. Verb T ist einer der produktivsten Hip-Hop-Künstler im Vereinigten Königreich und Mitglied der Supergroup The Four Owls, er hat mit den meisten der größten Namen im britischen Hip-Hop gearbeitet, darunter Jehst, Sway, Harry Love und viele mehr. Verbs ist ein Künstler mit einem einzigartigen Stil und einer lyrischen Aussicht, der klassischen 90er Jahre U umarmt. S Hip Hop sowie experimentiere mit neuen Styles mit eigener Produktion. Beachtende Einflüsse sind Künstler wie Slick Rick, Al Green, De La Soul und Jimi Hendrix. Die Musik von Verb T hat Themen des sozialen Bewusstseins, Paranoia, Drogensucht und Selbstverbesserung behandelt.

In den späten 90ern besuchten minderjährige Verbs Open-Mic-Abende in ganz London, während sie auch seine ersten Demo-Songs mit Freund und Produzenten Harry Nach seiner Debütsingle (Ill Behaviour, Ape Man Records 1999) und zahlreichen Auftritten auf Mixtapes von DJs wie MK (Roots Manuva/Kiss FM) begannen Verbs einen Ruf für seine Geschichtenraps und humorvollen Sketche zu gewinnen, die einen tiefen und leicht verdrehten Sinn Im Jahr 2002 hatte Verb T seine erste Veröffentlichung auf dem bekanntesten und damals wohl glaubwürdigsten Hip-Hop-Label Low Life Records wieder mit Harry Love („Showbitchness“ 2002, Low Life Records). Glücklich mit Verbs' Antrieb und Arbeitsmoral lud Low Life-Besitzer Braintax Verb T ein, ein Projekt mit dem Rapper Kashmere aufzunehmen, mit dem Verbs gerade auf Tour begonnen hatte.

Verb T:
In 2011 Verb T formed a group with artists Fliptrix, Leaf Dog and BVA MC, known as The Four Owls. Their debut album ‘Natures Greatest Mystery’ & follow up ‘Natural Order’ have seen The Owls touring solidly in the UK & Europe. 2012 also saw the release of Verb T’s High Focus debut ‘Morning Process’ which was received with critical acclaim and leaving fans hungry for more. 2013 shall see the release of his 7th studio album ‘I Remain’. After having worked with all the top producers in the UK rap scene over the course of his long career, this time around Verb T is showing his full potential as an artist, coming full circle to handling his own production. Verb T later went on to collaborate with Illinformed on 2015’s critically acclaimed ‘The Man With The Foggy Eyes’, followed by ‘Good Evening’ LP, a collaborative project with up and coming producer Pitch 92 which was released late 2017.

As of late, we have seen Verb T put out his third album with The Four Owls, in which he worked with world class names such as DJ Premier, Masta Killa, Kool G Rap, R.A. The Rugged Man, and Roc Marciano. Then, not long after, we saw the release of the follow up album to the critically acclaimed ‘The Man With The Foggy Eyes’. Collaborating again with Illinformed, Verb T lays down some of his realest bars to date on the new record. ‘The Land of the Foggy Skies’ once again proves why Verb T is one of the most decorated MC’s in UK hip hop and why Illinformed is in a class of his own when it comes to production. Definitely not one to miss out on!

Verb T’s track record is nothing short of remarkable, proving to be one of the most prolific MC’s from these shores.
