Julie Felten
born 2001, Luxembourg, lives and works in Berlin.
After completing her bachelor’s degree in illustration, Julie works as a freelance artist with a strong interest in surrealism. Her work is defined by a personal, imaginative visual language that moves fluidly between fine art and illustration.
She works in both analog and digital media, with a special interest Mixed Media. By combining different materials and textures, she creates layered surfaces that invite not only visual but also tactile exploration.
Her imagery often emerges intuitively, shaped more by associative processes than by fixed concepts. Symbolic elements and fantastical figures intertwine to form surreal, multilayered compositions. Her style is marked by intricate detail, strong contrasts, and a poetic, playful engagement with material, form, and meaning. The resulting works feel dreamlike and otherworldly, yet strangely familiar.
