Lance Butters has renounced his friendship with the world - and built his own. From unique themes and sounds, individual ways of speaking, color spectrums and movement patterns. When he enters the room, there are always only centimeters between a game of hide-and-seek and a striptease of the soul, between colossal drama and merciless nonchalance. Lance Butters combines - and this is particularly true of his live shows - the deepest abysses with inspiring empowerment and stimulus-flooded chaos with aestheticized minimalism. After a whopping three and a half years away from the stage, Deutschrap's most prominent spoilsport is finally touring Germany again and conquering your city with a single "Yeeeaaah".

Lance Butters has been playing in the German rap league for more than ten years - without ever having set out to do so. Lance gained early fame through his reluctant performances at the VBT video battle tournament. His debut album "BLAOW" reached number two in the German album charts in 2015. A new career chapter began in 2018 with the second Lance Butters LP "ANGST". While his style had previously been defined by ironic, misanthropic punchlines and stoner romanticism, Lance suddenly got down to the nitty gritty: the most intimate insights into a scarred soul, depressive episodes, pointed social criticism and gaping world-weariness have been at the heart of his output ever since. "ANGST" and the two subsequent EPs "LONER" and "SOMMER" turned a hype moment into a legacy and Lance Butters into a seasoned artist. An artist who succeeds time and again in transforming an understanding of style, talent and mercilessly intimate introspection into timeless art.
