All there, all beautiful. The band history of Provinz reads like a brilliant exclamation mark: Festival headliner slots, countless sold-out live shows and their own tours across Germany, over 430 million streams, two #10 albums in the official German charts, several singles in the airplay charts, appearances across the German TV landscape - the foursome from southern Germany have recently made a name for themselves and have become an integral part of the German-speaking music landscape. Between the distinctive vocal color of frontman Vincent - sometimes melancholic, sometimes feverish, but always standing out - there is a rousing sound construct that makes free use of indie, alternative, but also electronic elements and lyrically circulates around the blueprint between rebellion, lovesickness, mental health, attitude to life and, of course, the province. This year the guys are going on "Heimweg" Tour 2024.

Who is the Province Band?

The Province Band consists of four talented musicians: singer Vincent Waizenegger, keyboardist Robin Schmid, bassist Moritz Bösing and drummer Leon Sennewald. Three quarters of the band members of Provinz are related to each other - Vincent, Robin and Moritz are cousins. Even their fathers made music together. According to Vincent himself, he wrote his first lyrics at the age of 12 "mainly out of boredom". In the beginning, Vincent and Robin played street music in English on Lake Constance as Twice. As time went on and the other band members joined, they changed their name to Provinz and focused on German folk-pop.
