The best events in November 2023 in the Ruhr region
What's going on beyond the borders of Dortmund? Where can you go partying in the Ruhr region? If you're asking yourself these or similar questions, we'll help you decide in a monthly column from STROBO. We've picked out the best events for the month of November. On top of that , there's a nice prize draw for you on Instagram!
Rübergeschaut: Mola
"Life is beautiful" is the title of Mola's current tour. The Munich-based singer is known for her honest and refined indie music. Songs about party nights, heartache and alcohol. With her authentic loud style and a real appetite for partying, Hotel Shanghai is just the right place for her music. A match made in heaven. This is sure to be an evening you won't forget in a hurry!
Rübergeschaut: Schlegel Club mit Tornado Wallace
In mid-November, the Schlegel Kultur Club will receive a visit from the international house scene. Tornado Wallace will be playing and promises a really good night with great beats. "All kind of rave sounds" and "A touch of disco" are the order of the evening. As always in one of Bochum's most beautiful locations.
Rübergeschaut: Betterov
Yes, ANOTHER indie act has graced the Ruhgebiet. A real highlight, in fact. Betterov has sung his way straight into the hearts of German music fans in recent years. The dark, melancholy indie rock and the personal lyrics have already made his album OLYMPIA a classic in its scene. The many features on his album extension give hope for great guests. If Betterov is already in the Ruhgebiet, the Velbert boys from Blumengarten won't miss the chance to support him live, will they? And all this in the beautiful Ebertbad in Oberhausen.
Rübergeschaut: Essener Comedy Clash
Attention comedy fans! Because towards the end of the month, things will get really funny once again. Essen's Weststadthalle is hosting the final selection round of Germany's biggest stand-up comedy competition. Six comedians will compete against each other in each of the six preliminary rounds. The audience decides who was the funniest on the night and who gets to compete in the final in December. A relaxed and funny evening!
