08.06. - Campus Spring Break - Bochum
TheCampus Spring Break is entering its second round and the line-up for the student festival is impressive: In addition to rap legend Sido as the headliner, singer Elif, Stuttgart rapper Dardan, German rapper Haiyti and high-flyer Paula Hartmann will also be performing on the two stages. And if you're in the mood for a turn-up: Not only Money Boy will be at the start, but Mehnersmoos and Alexander Marcus are also guaranteed to make for a great party!
P.S.: There will also be day tickets for spontaneous festival visitors!
16-18.06. - Dreamtime Festival - Duisburg
Duisburg Landscape Park - (c)Thomas Berns
For three days, the Traumzeit Festival transforms the Duisburg Landscape Park into a unique festival with a wide range of music including indie rock, post-punk, singer/songwriter, folk, hip hop and electro. You can look forward to a jam-packed line-up: Led by US indie legends Interpol, Belgian art rockers dEUS and brass-pop punkers Querbeat, you can expect a festival firework display consisting of 33 acts.

16.06. - Jan Philipp Zymny: SurREALITY -
In his solo program surREALITÄT Stand Up, Jan Philipp Zymny mixes philosophical reflections, short stories and surreal absurdities to look at our reality in a humorous and thought-provoking way. Zymny is not only one of Germany's best-known poetry slammers, he is also a gifted comedian and manages to make the audience think with his clever sentences.

24.06. - ExtraSchicht - Ruhr area
Of course, THE cultural festival of the Ruhr region should not be missing from our recommendations! The Night of Industrial Culture is taking place again this year and, with 44 venues in 22 cities, has once again put together a program of the most important places in the Ruhr region. Places such as the German Mining Museum, the Jahrhunderthalle (both in Bochum), the DFB Museum, the Dortmunder U or the Gasometer in Oberhausen invite you to show you the most interesting and beautiful corners of the Ruhr region.

29.06. - Mark Benecke - Mülheim
On this evening, Germany's best-known criminal biologist Mark Benecke not only provides an insight into the connection between murder cases and entomology, but also presents some cases selected by the audience and shows how he solves cases like no other with his working methods. The globally sought-after specialist also manages to explain the complicated cases and explanations to a broad lay audience in a humorous and exciting way.
