Free and outside! Every year from June to August, the containers on the forecourt of the Dortmunder U become the stage for "Sommer am U". With up to 10,000 visitors every year, the once small and temporary summer festival has become a permanent fixture in Dortmund's urban cultural landscape. Thanks to the tried-and-tested "made by many" concept, there is something for pretty much every taste - from live music ranging from folk & indie to pop & rock to hip hop, punk and jazz.
