The perfect summer evening? For us, it's clear: outdoors, surrounded by your favorite people and preferably with a show you won't soon forget. That's exactly why we love cinema at the Olympic Lake. From May 15, the Olympic Park will once again be transformed into Munich's most atmospheric open-air living room.
More than cinema!
Whether it's great emotions on the big screen, loud laughter at comedy or collective excitement at a soccer match - cinema at the Olympic Lake brings together everything that makes your summer heart beat faster.
From Hollywood to comedy club
What's on the program? Much more than cinema: current blockbusters (often also in the original English version), live shows with comedy, podcasts or poetry slams, relaxed family afternoons and great sports moments on the big screen.
Unique: open-air cinema in daylight? Thanks to the latest LED technology, it no longer needs to be dark to watch a movie. Only at Kino am Olympiasee can you see up to 4 shows a day.
Jungle beer garden
Want to eat something good before or after the show? Italian pasta (also veggie!), chili con carne, popcorn and nachos await you in the jungle beer garden right by the lake. There are also cool Hofbräu beers, spritz, cocktails, wines and juice spritzers.
The theater is open from 30 minutes before the first performance - during the week from around 5:30 pm, on Fridays from 3:00 pm, at weekends and on public holidays from 1:00 pm.
