The 0 + 1 Festival for Diversity + Complexity is taking place for the fifth time this year. We are celebrating this anniversary with a preview on August 29, 2025 at Keuning.haus - with the premiere of the book "Unser Schmerz ist unsere Kraft".

Semiya was 14 years old, Gamze 20, when their fathers were murdered by the NSU. Together with author Christine Werner, activists and political educators Gamze Kubaşık and Semiya Şimşek talk about the consequences of the murders, the subsequent suspicions and the NSU's self-disclosure for them and their families. Their book is aimed specifically at young people - a political counter-narrative to structural racism. Ali Şirin moderates.

The 0 + 1 Festival will then take place from October 7 to 31, 2025 with a further 14 events. We look forward to exciting guests, new formats and inspiring encounters.
