10. HEVIE - Hemelinger Vielfalt Stadtteilfest

The 10th Hemelinger Vielfalt im Stadtteil Hemelingen, or HEVIE for short, showcases the best of all five districts. Under the motto "Natur pure", HEVIE offers a colorful open-air program with Free admission on two days. On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the HEFLOH (flea market) will once again take place from 1 - 5:30 pm from private individuals for everyone. Everything can be offered, only commercial vendors are not allowed. Registration will be possible from June via our HEVIE homepage. In the afternoon, the HEVIE-CUP starts at 14:30 in Tamra-Hemelingen Park. All individuals and teams over the age of 18, including groups, are welcome to take part in this fun open-air sports tournament. Participants can take part in these three competitions: Boules, beach volleyball and small-sided soccer. In 2025, there will once again be a go-kart vs. bike race with duo teams (participants aged 8 and over!). The children's program is planned in cooperation with the Hemelingen and Mahndorf community centers on both days.

The evening program on the first day of the festival is all about open-air fun. Visitors can look forward to light musical entertainment in Wilkens Park from 3 pm, a bingo event and very special musical entertainment from 7 pm. A large culinary offer invites you to linger. All with Free admission!

On Sunday, 07.09.2025 - Family Day - a gourmet breakfast "Made in Hemelingen" is planned again from 10 to 11 am. This entertaining event with crafts and creative activities as well as informative stands attracts more and more visitors every year. It is not a mass event but one with variety over two days, which is offered free of charge. Culinary specialties as well as lots of fun and games for the whole family are offered here with and without supervision. A varied and entertaining children's and music program is part of the second day of the HEVIE festival, with a bouncy castle, face painting, hands-on activities and much more. It's not just children's groups that show off their skills on stage with music and dance.

Up to 80 exhibitors from the leisure and commercial sector (local associations, NABU, ADFC, consumer advice center, traffic watch, energy consultants, schools and many more) can present themselves with information stands, great products, culinary delights and activities under rustic tents and in the community center hall. Stand registrations from companies and institutions are accepted by the district marketing department via the official HEVIE homepage. There are also plans for a stand on the subject of reusable crockery to touch and borrow. Because HEVIE is sustainable - reusable tableware will also be used at the catering stands with a deposit system to avoid the use of plastic as much as possible. There will also be a job market with local job offers and applications, including for volunteer support. Games will be offered in the Hemelingen environmental yurt on Saturday. Craft and painting activities will be offered with KITAS from Hemelingen. A large selection of food and drink will be available in Wilkens Park. There is plenty of free parking available.
