What it's about:
The south of Thuringia is in turmoil. But what can a miserable teenager do against the conflicts of his own parents? As far as Kilian Ritter is concerned: escape new problems when your previous attempts at mediation have failed mercilessly!
His favorite place in the familiar woods around Schnett, the eye of the needle, proves to be a saving anchor in precarious everyday life. But soon there is no longer any question of protection in this special place of all places. Anger and despair seem secondary when the schoolboy slips into a drama the extent of which is beyond his imagination. The Berchtesgadener Land is calling - it is time to reveal a cruel truth from days long past.

The author:
Born in Hildburghausen in 1995 and raised in nearby Eisfeld, Felix Sausemuth demonstrated his creative streak at an early age - whether as "reading king" in the German Book Trade's reading competition or leading actor in school plays. His literary works in subsequent years have won several awards, including the European competition for a satirical debate and the short film project "Dead Silence" on the subject of violence in everyday life. After the suspenseful children's book trilogy "Leo and Kleo", which was written between 2018 and 2021, he is now publishing his first crime novel "Blutecho".
