The start of a new crime series with heart, wit and understanding.
What it's about:
The amazing Svetlana loves Russian literature and detective stories. Her wisdom is as legendary as her grammar. Tommi, a lovable slob in his early 30s, is working hard on his breakthrough as a bestselling author. Most of the time, anyway. Due to a temporary financial slump, he lives in his father's old motorhome. He has left him the Hymer B550 together with his Ukrainian cleaning lady Svetlana. When Tommi and Svetlana pick up a little girl at the edge of the forest one evening, they have no idea that their unconventional and sometimes foolhardy search for her mother will put them on the trail of a terrible crime. And puts them in great danger themselves. Volker Klüpfel in top form: through the eyes of the amazing Svetalana and writer Tommi, the author once again demonstrates his uniquely humorous view of human weaknesses and abysses.
The protagonists:
Volker Klüpfel has been thrilling an audience of millions for years with his Kluftinger crime novels: his new novel Wenn Ende gut, dann alles is the prelude to his first solo crime series. With Tommi, a crime writer who is unable to write crime novels, and Svetlana, his Ukrainian cleaning lady, two incomparable characters take center stage as amateur detectives - and a mobile home serves as a mobile investigation center.
For this evening at the Krimifestival Erfurt, cabaret artist Christine Prayon slips into the role of Svetlana and engages in a hilarious exchange of blows with author Volker Klüpfel on the open stage, which is about much more than why men can't read women. Look forward to a very special reading, a fast-paced evening with plenty of wordplay and a humorous look at human weaknesses and abysses.
