10. StraßenFeuer – Spendengala u.a. mit Martin Rütter

In the organizer's words:

The StraßenFeuer fundraising gala for the homeless has been held at the Hans-Sachs-Haus since 2014. All proceeds from ticket sales and other fundraising activities on site are donated to Arzt Mobil Gelsenkirchen e.V. and Warm durch die Nacht e.V.

The charity event was initiated by musician Norbert Labatzki in cooperation with the city of Gelsenkirchen, the Musiktheater im Revier and emschertainment GmbH. In recent years, numerous well-known artists with close ties to the Ruhr region, such as Herbert Knebel, Fritz Eckenga, Bastian Bielendorfer, Hagen Rether, Torsten Sträter, Carmela de Feo and Gerburg Jahnke, have agreed to perform free of charge in aid of the project.

This year, we are all particularly pleased that the great Martin Rütter will be joining us in this wonderful tradition.

Martin Rütter is much more than just a dog trainer - he is an entertainer, author and probably Germany's best-known expert on the relationship between humans and dogs.
For many years, he has put his heart and soul into social projects - especially where people and animals come together. With his association "Adopt instead of Produce", he campaigns for the adoption of dogs from animal welfare organizations and raises awareness about the illegal puppy trade, for example.

Thanks to the passionate commitment of Martin Rütter and his team, many dogs now lead a better life. In addition to his TV shows, Martin Rütter runs his own podcast, gives guest lectures and goes on tour with his live shows. In his tour programs, he talks about his experiences on the dog training ground and his many years as a dog trainer. With his humorous and open manner, he manages to inspire dog owners and non-dog owners alike.
