Children of the now legendary Greek underground heavy rock scene of the mid-00s, 1000mods have risen from smoky basements to sold-out arenas and can be considered the most successful Greek rock band of the last decade.

It was in September 2011 that "Super Van Vacation" paved the way. The debut album by the Greek heavy rock rollercoaster had it all: heavy low-end guitars, a laid-back, groovy rhythm section and trippy vocal lines. The result is now considered a classic of the European heavy rock scene and a turning point in Greek rock music, which was never to be the same again. Bands and fans came and went, but 1000mods stayed strong, following their dream, leading by example and inspiring a whole generation of musicians.
