11. Dyke* March Cologne

In the organizer's words:

Under the motto "Disobedient Dykes* - Resistance against the Right", thousands of Dykes* - lesbians, women, trans* and non-binary people who identify as lesbian, queer or bi+ - will march through Cologne on the eve of CSD. The demonstration stands for lesbian visibility, queer diversity and clear solidarity against right-wing agitation and exclusion. All genders welcome - Dykes* to the front!

We welcome all Dykes* from Cologne, NRW and the whole world to Cologne on July 20, 2024. Together we will march through the streets and express our diversity! Everyone who defines themselves as Dyke* is welcome to join us and show themselves.

The Dyke* March Cologne is a platform to present the very different interests and political demands of lesbians/queer women/women-loving women/genderqueer lesbians.

Our political concerns are just as diverse as our living environments. Come along and take the space for your issues! We would be delighted if this vibrant and militant diversity could be seen and heard at the Dyke* March Cologne. Take your life realities and political demands to the streets on this day!

Bring your slogans, flags, slogans, favorite costumes and instruments to make the Dyke* March Cologne a colorful, wonderfully audible and, above all, widely visible experience for everyone.

We are looking forward to countless cheering supporters at the roadside who will give us loud support. We expressly do not welcome groups and individuals with inhuman ideology. We see ourselves as part of an emancipatory, feminist, anti-racist society that acts in solidarity with other people and does not exclude them.

* For us, "Dyke" stands for "lesbian/queer woman/woman-loving woman/genderqueer lesbian" who is strong and self-confident. Like so many once derogatory words, the word has been reinterpreted in a positive way over the last few decades.
