The tour takes you through Schöneberg, which is known as the center of the LGBTQIA+ community in Berlin. You will learn about the history of the emancipation movement, from Karl Heinrich Ulrichs to Nollendorfplatz, an important meeting place for queer people. Visit the art gallery "The Ballery", discover memorials to LGBTQIA+ personalities such as Christopher Isherwood and Hilde Radusch and learn more about the cabaret queen Claire Waldoff. Immerse yourself in the colorful hustle and bustle of Motzstraße, visit Café Romeo und Romeo and the HAFEN tanzbar and experience the annual lesbian-gay city festival. This tour offers you insights into the diversity and tolerance of the LGBTQIA+ community in Berlin and will inspire you with its history and lively atmosphere.
