"CHANGE, CHALLENGE, CHANCE" is the theme of the 12th Berlin Women Entrepreneurs' Day, which will take place on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Ludwig-Erhard-Haus (IHK Berlin, Fasanenstraße 85, 10623 Berlin). The event is initiated and financed by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, with Investitionsbank Berlin, IHK Berlin and the Berlin Chamber of Crafts as well as Berlin Partner für Wirtschaft und Technologie GmbH and the Verein Berliner Kaufleute und Industrieller e.V. (VBKI) on board as cooperation partners.

The varied program includes discussion rounds, workshops, individual consultations and an accompanying information and contact exchange. The event is aimed at established female entrepreneurs and all women who want to become one. Free admission.

Valuable tips from theory and practice for practice

Franziska Giffey, Mayor and Senator for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, Nicole Korset-Ristic, Vice President of the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce, and Carola Zarth, President of the Berlin Chamber of Crafts, will open the event, which is expected to attract around 800 to 1,000 interested women. The keynote speech will be given by sustainability and transformation expert Prof. Dr. Maja Göpel.

Afterwards, participants can look forward to exciting panel talks on the topics of "Trends and growth areas in business" and "Women, power, media. There is still room for improvement". The panelists include Theresia Crone, activist and influencer, Ruth von Heusinger, founder and managing director of ForTomorrow gGmbH, Dr. Katarzyna Mol-Wolf, founder and author, Natalya Nepomnyashcha, management consultant, founder of "Netzwerk Chancen" and author of "Wir von unten", and Petra Pinzler, journalist and author of "Hat das Zukunft oder kann das weg? A compass for progress".

In breakout sessions, experts from associations, institutions and networks, together with committed role model entrepreneurs, will impart valuable know-how in the areas of "start-up" and "succession, business transfer/takeover". In parallel, there will be three workshops by and with Josephine Ballon, Head of Legal at HateAid, Sabrina Rizzo, facereader, behavioral and negotiation expert, and Uta Zech, head of the Equal Pay Day campaign.

Exchange and networking guaranteed

In addition, 30 exhibitors who are committed to promoting more women in business in Berlin will be presenting their projects and programs. They will also provide useful contacts for start-ups and successful entrepreneurship. Participants can also receive individual advice in one-to-one meetings.
