MISCELLANY OF FOLK consists of three individual characters from Ireland and Newfoundland who all bring a range of interesting music and life experiences to the concert stage. With several decades of performing around the globe, they are now highly respected troubadours of the music scene. They come with an open palette of music that stretches across the Atlantic from the 'Emerald Isle' to North America. With a powerful and well-arranged repertoire of thoughtful songs and stomping instrumentals, they deliver a dynamic, intimate and entertaining concert full of emotion and fun. Their personable performance will take you on a heart-warming musical journey through the world of folk music.

The fiddle is an integral part of the line-up of many Irish folk bands - but with FIDDOLÍN it gives the band its name, because it unites the three musicians. In addition to guitar, piano and Irish flute, but above all with groovy fiddle sounds, they take their listeners on a musical journey to Ireland. In varied arrangements, the multi-instrumentalists perform reels and jigs bubbling with joie de vivre as well as powerful to melancholy folk songs that seem to have sprung directly from a session in the middle of a quaint pub in Ireland. A perfect experience for anyone with a wanderlust for the Emerald Isle.
