The Slow Club is 14 years old - let's celebrate!

Day 2 - Friday, 11.10.

NOWAVES + DAS GÜNTHER + RUMKRAKEHLE

Unfortunately, both Melting Palms and Angeilikas had to cancel.
But we were able to win the most wonderful DAS GÜNTHER for us
for us, yeah!

NOWAVES
feels like a déjà vu.
You know the sound from somewhere, but you don't know exactly where. Melancholic synth waves waft around the beach garage guitar. This is underpinned by sophisticated bass lines and minimalist drums.

You are finally carried away by the sound of the vocals, which are either overdriven or crystal clear in places.
The feelings triggered are somewhere between joy and melancholy.

"What the band delivers here once again oscillates somewhere between post-punk, cheekiness, a relaxed basic attitude and a basic musical understanding that, looking back, I would have gladly killed for in the early eighties [...].

THE GÜNTHER
Günther's mother describes her child as follows:
"Party! Party! Depressed! Depri!"
For some, Günther needs therapy, for others Günther is therapy.
Like a shabby clown, Günther leads not only the audience but also himself around by the nose.
Günther doesn't write songs, he invents them on stage. Günther is punk, clown and mom all at the same time.
