15. Kinder- und Jugendjazzfest KIDS JAZZ L.E.

From March 7-9, young musicians from all over Germany will come together in Leipzig for the 15th " KIDS JAZZ" jazz festival. The children's and youth festival will take place from March 7-9, 2025.

The concerts at the festival could not be more diverse: soloists, small and large bands ... even a string big band - will perform in the ballroom of the New Town Hall and show just how varied and diverse jazz can be. Because this musical genre offers a lot of scope: "All musicians can take on a musical role - regardless of whether they have just started learning an instrument or are already musically advanced players," says Anne Schneemelcher from the "Kids Jazz L.E." association. It is important to the association that this festival is not a competition, which is what makes "KIDS JAZZ" so unique.

For the first time, the association is cooperating with the "Neue Musik Leipzig" music school. Special thanks, however, go to many other (private) sponsors and supporters without whom the festival would not exist. These include the Kulturstiftung Sachsen, the City of Leipzig, Sparkasse Leipzig, the Herz aus Gold agency and the HMT. Not to forget: the stage and event team from Megapohon, who provide the spotlight!
