16. Benefizkonzert des Zonta-Club Berlin

In the organizer's words:

On Friday, April 4, 2025, our annual benefit concert will take place at 7 p.m. in the St. Matthäus-Kirche in the Kulturforum (St. Matthäikirchplatz 1, 10785 Berlin). Under the title "FEMMES DE LÉGENDE", the Ukrainian-born pianist will play and present works by the composers Cécile Chaminade (1857-1944), Lili Boulanger (1893-1918) and Mel Bonis (1858-1937).

The composition "Femmes de Légende", in which Mel Bonis musically explores three legendary women from the history of music and literature: Ophelia, Desdemona and Salome, gives the concert its title.

The second half of the concert is dedicated to the composer couple Clara and Robert Schumann. Among other works, the Fantasie op. 17 by Robert Schumann will be performed.
