18. Filmmusiktage Sachsen-Anhalt

In fall 2025, film music professionals, scientists and interested parties will meet for the 18th Saxony-Anhalt Film Music Days in Halle (Saale). The focus is always on international exchange about professional practice, creative challenges and, of course, experiencing film music and sound design.

Under the motto MOMENTUM, film music creators will move the audience and the industry with their talent and commitment by giving them the space to come together and create something. In addition to topics of digitalization and the use of AI, creative approaches, interdisciplinary collaboration and finding one's own artistic signature will also play an important role.

The Saxony-Anhalt Film Music Days are a glittering highlight in the cultural calendar of Central Germany and an established exchange and networking format for the industry. They have been held annually in Halle (Saale) since 2008 under different themes. The events for knowledge transfer, further education, entertainment and networking are aimed equally at professionals and interested members of the public. The Film Music Days celebrate and promote the art of film music: they offer national and international greats, but above all up-and-coming film music talents, a much-noticed stage. This makes the Saxony-Anhalt Film Music Days unique in Germany.
