18. Moerser Boogie Night

In the organizer's words:

Host Jörg Hegemann from Witten is the musical director of this event and delights every guest with his boogie woogie playing on the grand piano. Martijn Schok and Greta Holtrop stand for first-class boogie woogie, soulful blues and are the leading and best-known representatives of this genre in Holland. Martijn Schok is also considered a master of classic boogie woogie; singer Greta Holtrop, with her versatile voice and charismatic stage presence, is the ideal complement to Martijn's piano playing. The rhythm section consists of Oliver Mewes on drums and Andreas Müller on double bass. Shellac DJ Volker Hess and his boogie dance couples will also perform show dances.
