1945 in Hannover- Öffentlicher Schnupperworkshop

In the organizer's words:

How did people in Hanover experience the year 1945? What events were formative for them? And which places in Hanover are particularly associated with the year the war ended? Come to our workshop and find out.

In our workshop, we will look at the developments of 1945 through various biographies and eyewitness accounts. We will consider how the end of National Socialist tyranny shaped and changed the respective life stories. What were the important events and mechanisms of this process? And what do the developments of 1945 have to do with us today?

The "[Z]ivilcourage to go!" workshops are part of the "[Z]ivilcourage now!" event series. They are designed and carried out by the ZeitZentrum Zivilcourage educators. The events are free of charge and can be attended by individuals or small groups. Registration is required, the number of participants is limited.
