When LeTRa 2022 was no longer able to host the popular Angertor street festival, Xenia Schneefuß stepped in to give the lesbian community a stage and visibility during Pride Month.
The 2024 festival was a complete success, and the Lesbian Street Festival has since become a permanent fixture in Munich's Pride Month. But a festival like this needs one thing above all: financial support.
Why we need your donation:
The Lesbian Street Festival is largely privately funded. The Rainbow Foundation and Team München are already providing support, but that's nowhere near enough. (This year's street festival will cost a minimum of 12.000€). We are therefore dependent on your donations.
Especially in the current political situation, it is more important than ever to actively support events like this. Democracy, diversity and lesbian visibility are not only celebrated here, but actively lived and defended.
