Modernized format for even more fun
Around 30,000 cycling enthusiasts are expected to attend one of the largest cycling events in Germany on Sunday, July 6, 2025. As in previous years, the children's farm in Neuss will once again be the start and finish point of the Lower Rhine Cycling Experience Day. In the interests of sustainability, paper will be dispensed with as far as possible: smartphones instead of paper routes, registration via QR code instead of starter cards, online competition instead of a central raffle. Registration for the online competition is voluntary - you can cycle without it.

The Cycling Experience Day is not about speed, but about being out and about in nature, getting to know the country and its people. Discovering sights along the way and enjoying a break. You can start from 10 a.m., each participant determines their own route and start time. The event ends at 5 pm.

Over 60 municipalities and partners on the German and Dutch sides with more than 90 routes of different lengths await the participants. Along the routes, many colorful program points offer variety for the cyclists and invite them to linger and enjoy.

Even those who are not cycling can experience a varied program with numerous cooperation partners at the children's farm between 10 am and 5 pm. The ADFC will be taking part with an information stand, the Neusser Radstation with a bicycle workshop, Stadtwerke Neuss with its "Bus und Rad" campaign and the "Durstlöschermobil", which is available to everyone free of charge, and Neuss Marketing. The farm café in the children's farm awaits visitors with delicious offers.
