2 Tage Bogenbau in Köln

In the organizer's words:

In a small group we rasp, file, sand, till, heat (temper), bend and oil under the guidance of Lars Christensen and his team. We use rattan manau. This type of palm is extremely flexible and we can shape it under heat, e.g. with a flame or a hot air dryer. This allows us to bend a recurve bow (or the modern reflex-deflex variant) with greater efficiency and prevent stringfollow ("borrowing") as far as possible.

At the beginning of the course, we carefully measure your draw and draw weight. With these measurements, you can build a bow that suits you individually. It also delivers very good shooting results.

Price/performance: € 295 / tool, bow blank, leather grip, string and material for 3 cedar arrows, plus a short shooting course.

There is plenty of space in our large archery hall, first-class tools and, after building, the opportunity to shoot the bow directly on site, on our beautiful outdoor range or in the hall under expert guidance. We usually accompany the program with two trainers.
Coffee, tea, fruit (all organic, TransFair), sweets and mineral water are included in the price.

In addition, there is also a bow guide with technical tips, user instructions and explanations on the development of bow making.
