Mozart's Requiem

Project for amateur singers

20 years ago, Antony Hermus launched our participatory choir project SCRATCH. Standing on stage with a professional orchestra and performing rousing music on a very large scale - with SCRATCH this is possible for all amateur singers, even and especially without previous experience. As in the first edition, you will rehearse Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's famous swan song, his Requiem KV 626, within a single day. This will be joined by a choral work by Hildegard von Bingen. In the evening, you will perform the pieces together with professional soloists and the Hagen Philharmonic Orchestra. Anyone can join in and sing - the focus is on fun and the communal experience.
