24hourproject Exhibition Hamburg

In the organizer's words:

Since 2012, street photographers around the world have been taking part in a social project together once a year on the same day. The community of the "24HourProject" grows every year, so that on July 20, 2024, over 4300 photographers worldwide took to the streets for up to 24 hours to capture humanity in photographs. The photos were published on social media every hour to draw attention to social injustices.

85 photos selected by an international jury will now be on display at the tbd Kunstvilla (Hamburg Altona) from 03.04.2025 to 13.04.2025.

The 24HourProject is a charity event. All proceeds from the Hamburg 24HourProject exhibition will go to India in 2025. There we support the women's program of Responsible Charity (https://responsiblecharity.org/), which helps women to live independently of men.

On 03.04.2025 there will be a vernissage in the exhibition space from 18:00. There will be several program items as part of the exhibition to collect donations for the benefit of the Indian women's empowerment program. These include, for example, the sale of the exhibited photos, a photo workshop and a photo marathon.

The exhibition can be visited from 03.04.2025 to 13.04.2025 on Thursdays and Fridays from 18:00 - 22:00 and Saturdays and Sundays from 15:00 - 22:00 in the Kunstvilla TBD, Ehrenbergstraße 25, 22767 Hamburg. Free admission. Donations for Responsible Charity are requested.
