25:2 – Bachelor- und Masterthesis Innenarchitektur im Sommersemester 2025

In the organizer's words:

In a joint exhibition at LUX, the final projects of the Bachelor's degree course "Interior Architecture" and the Master's degree course "Spatial Communication" are presented.

25 Bachelor students developed architectural-scenographic projects for a new agora in the "Diana am Wildpark" housing estate in Mainz-Gonsenheim as part of their Bachelor's thesis. The aim was to design a hybrid spatial continuum in the form of a non-commercial, communal cultural and meeting place.

For their Master's theses, the two graduates chose their very own topic of "communication in space". The students have a traditional background in interior design, but are working on interdisciplinary projects in their Master's degree - this characterizes interior design studies at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The result: student (final) projects that are as diverse as they are unique and sometimes come from a research-based interest and sometimes from a practice-oriented area of application.

On Friday, 18.07.2025, from 18:30, the Interior Architecture department invites you to an exhibition tour. Bachelor's and Master's graduates will guide anyone interested through the exhibition and provide insights into their creative designs and answer questions about the course. Afterwards, we will conclude the exhibition program with a finissage and project presentations.

We cordially invite you to celebrate our graduates and be inspired by their work!
