3. Konzert für junge Leute: DOJO meets Dortmund Philharmonic

Sergei Prokofiev Symphony No. 7 in C sharp minor op. 131 and other works

A concert for and by young people: Together with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dortmund Youth Orchestra DOJO | DORTMUND MUSIK is devoting itself to a symphonic classic, Prokofiev's lyrical, upbeat Seventh Symphony. The young musicians are actively supported in their preparation by the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra through coaching and rehearsals. At the concert, they then join them on the big stage of the Konzerthaus.

At the concerts for young people, the focus is on encounters with orchestral music without any fear of thresholds. By combining diverse, attractive programs with music of different styles with current, exciting and popular themes, the concert attendance becomes a special experience. It doesn't matter whether you have a connection to classical music or are completely new to this diverse world of sound.
