30 YRS Editions Mego – A Festival Showcase at Volksbühne & silent green

Volksbühne & silent green present

Together with the Volksbühne, silent green presents a two-day festival showcase on May 30 and 31, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the cult experimental label Editions Mego.

On May 31, visitors can look forward to an evening of immersive performances by some of the label's most groundbreaking artists in the Betonhalle. In the Kuppelhalle, visitors will also have the opportunity to listen to the entire Editions Mego catalog in random order, immersing themselves in the world of the many artists who have shaped the label's history.

A film program in the Betonhalle adds a visual layer to the festival. Three works will be shown that deal with body, sound and narrative in different ways - in close relation to the music and aesthetics of the label.
