4. Kirchplatzkonzert mit Tante Friedl

In the organizer's words:

Tante Friedl - a world folk-roots duo from Berlin plays the 4th and last Kirchplatzkonzert 2025.

With accordion, banjo and two strong voices, Magdalena Kriss from Germany and Dan Wall from New York State push the boundaries of the genre of folk music from Europe and the Americas and impress with a dynamic and unmistakable sound.
Their diverse repertoire, from union and protest songs to songs about love, loss, nature and adventure, provides insights into other cultures, stories and perspectives.
With finely crafted and dynamic arrangements, they take a powerful, critical, political and ironic approach to lyrics and music.

A crazy, fantastic folk and world music duo that captures the hearts of the audience with accordion, banjo and powerful voices.

The Cultural Office of the City of Bremerhaven is now reviving the popular Kirchplatzkonzerte series for the fifth year. The concerts take place every second Tuesday evening from 18:00 at the
the Great Church - free of charge and outside.

This event is sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Housing, Urban Development and Building as part of the "Sustainable inner cities and centers" program.
