L. v. Beethoven, F. Chopin
Since his first piano recital at the age of twelve, Dinis Schemann has given almost two thousand concerts as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed in major concert halls and at international festivals, including the Berlin Philharmonie and the Rudolfinum in Prague. He and his wife Susanne have worked together for many years in the Schemann Piano Duo. Together with her, Dinis Schemann has been the artistic director of several very successful concert series throughout Germany. The focus of his work is on solo piano recitals with a classical-romantic program. Due to his Portuguese roots, he also has a close connection to music from South America.
"Schemann offered piano art at the highest level in the almost sold-out Hansesaal ... a great
listening experience ..." (Ruhrnachrichten)
"Dinis Schemann articulated with wonderfully breathy elegance and shaped the sound with vitality and esprit, but without any coarseness. Great and grateful applause from the audience..." (Süddeutsche Zeitung)
