Whether "Romeo and Juliet" or "Tratsch op de Trepp" - comedies, serious plays, classics and modern pieces, often with lots of music - always good entertainment - there is something for everyone at the Ohnsorg Theater! The special feature: The majority of performances are in Low German, some with High German surtitles and short passages in High German. This makes it possible for beginners to follow the play.

What can you expect in the play? The opera singer Lutz-Lüder Löwenhaupt buys a live goose for the upcoming Christmas, which is to become a festive roast. This annoys housekeeper Therese, who now has a lot of extra work with the lively fowl. Son Peerle, on the other hand, is delighted and immediately takes Auguste, as he christens the goose, to his heart. The fact that she is to be kept in a box in the dark cellar is unbearable for him. And so Peerle and his sister Greta decide, in a clandestine night-and-fog operation, to move Auguste into their shared nursery - which ends in utter chaos.
