FILMFEST MÜNCHEN is an audience festival, discovery festival, international premiere festival and the No. 1 platform for German filmmaking at the same time: Every year we celebrate the diversity of film with you in the relaxed atmosphere of the Munich summer! ☀️
🎬 Numerous international and German filmmakers - including international stars such as Gillian Anderson - present more than 150 films in Munich and get into conversation with you at Q&As after the screenings and at the free FilmTalks in the festival center.
🌊 From June 27 to July 6, 2025, you can experience diverse cinema from all over the world, fresh film gems from Cannes and German film and series highlights on the big screen - in the popular festival cinemas as well as in the Deutsches Theater and open air at Kino, Mond & Sterne.
