In the organizer's words:

49th & Main are two guys from Kilkenny, Ireland, who mix indie pop with a good dose of experimentation. Producer Ben O'Sullivan and singer/multi-instrumentalist Paddy King were actually just planning to spend the summer of 2019 in Canada with a couple of friends - they packed a few recording devices to be on the safe side. What began as a spontaneous adventure ended up being the foundation stone for their first music project.

With "Catching Eyes" in April 2020, things really took off: the electro-pop banger collected over 10 million streams on Spotify and catapulted the two of them into completely new spheres. Since then, 49th & Main have been on the road to success and have released collaborations with artists such as Sarah Carton, Khakikid, Landis and Chameleon. "It's surreal, it hasn't really sunk in yet that this is a career," the pair laugh about the recent announcements, "but it's really exciting. It's really cool and we can't wait to get started."
