Public tours (including guided tours for deaf and hearing guests, with translation into DGS, and for blind, visually impaired and sighted guests, in tandem with ABSV) with Anke Hervol

5 rooms, 5 sculptures, 5 instrumentalists, 5 weeks, 5 hours: Sculptor Raimund Kummer and composer Daniel Ott join forces to realize a programmatically open work of art in the historic exhibition rooms at Pariser Platz. Kummer's sculptural fragments and video works intersect the spatial central axis, Ott's instrumental music cuts 5-5-5-5.

In their collaboration, the two members of the Akademie der Künste, Berlin, react to a jointly produced track that makes walking audible as a recurring element in the form of steps via 16 loudspeakers. cut is reflected in action cuts, time cuts and sound cuts, montage and intermediality. Daniel Ott's instrumental passages composed for clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, viola, double bass and percussion enter into a dialog with five sculpture fragments and three video projections by Raimund Kummer, which are placed axially in the exhibition spaces. The compositions are performed live by at least two musicians every day and are continuously moved through the halls.

This space-sound intervention is a musical-choreographic and visual-sculptural game. It invites visitors to spatial and auditory discoveries over 188 hours, in the live moment of encounters with the musicians, sculpture fragments and video projections.
