5. Science Slam unterm Apfelbaum

In the organizer's words:

At the Science Slam under the apple tree, young scientists present the results of their research from a wide range of disciplines in a summery atmosphere on the orchard meadow at Haus Bürgel. The winner of the slam is the one who inspires the audience and presents their project in ten minutes in a way that is not only easy to understand but also amusing!

Musicians from the Monheim collective "Join in" will accompany the evening with music. In addition to cool soft drinks, there will also be freshly tapped local beer from the 4019 Braumanufaktur brewery in Monheim and you are welcome to bring small snacks from home. In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the premises of the socio-cultural center Sojus 7 (Kapellenstraße 36-40, 40789 Monheim am Rhein). The Science Slam under the Apple Tree is the result of a cooperation between the Roman Museum Haus Bürgel and Sojus 7.

As there is only limited parking available at Haus Bürgel, we recommend arriving on foot, by bike or by public transport.

Tickets are available online via the Sojus 7 website at a regular price of €12 and a reduced price of €10. Depending on availability, tickets can be purchased at the Box Office for €15 or €13 reduced.
