With his love for Japan, owner Fabian Weingart launched a new online store under the name MYCONBINI in the middle of the pandemic in 2020, offering exclusively Japanese specialties in the areas of food, ingredients, cooking utensils and tableware. The online store, which was born out of a small storage room in Pankow, quickly became one of the leading Japanese stores in Germany. With the store in Mitte, the 41-year-old fulfilled a dream and created a meeting place for Japan enthusiasts, foodies and amateur chefs. To celebrate its 5th anniversary, Torstrasse 18 is offering free Japanese drinks, finger food and goodie bags as well as a big competition. Visitors can also look forward to a 15% discount all day long
