Eunbi Oh's artistic work is dedicated to exploring the uncertainty and impact of information in contemporary society and its role in social discourse. She constantly questions the uncertainty, chaos, belief and mistrust that information brings into our lives. The installation on display in room 506 illustrates these themes in a striking way.

With the development of digital media, the amount of information has increased exponentially. In an age where information overload and confusion are omnipresent, viral videos, global news, advertisements and more are constantly impacting us in an unfiltered and accessible way. Eunbi Oh visualizes the way this digital information fills our mobile devices and permeates our everyday lives.
Room 506 appears familiar at first glance, but the closer you look, the more alien it seems. The room does not simply stand for comfort and tranquillity, but symbolizes a condensed, information-overloaded world and our unstable reality. The artist creates a space that mimics our world and yet is interspersed with subtle disharmonies, creating a familiar yet alienating experience.
Through Room 506, Eunbi Oh shows how our perception of information and truth is distorted and altered in the digital age.
