Summertime means folk festival time and so the 62nd Berlin Folk Festival Summer invites you to the Central Festival Square every Wednesday to Sunday from July 25 to August 17 with Free admission. Over 60 attractions await you here, such as the Pirate Island family water ride, the classic break-dance ride and the 40-meter-high Fly Over chain carousel for the bravest. There are also plenty of popular games such as ball throwing, archery and raffle tickets. Delicious slushies and soft ice cream are available to cool off. No culinary wishes remain unfulfilled: From hearty barbecues, crispy spiral potatoes and a variety of langos to fresh gyros platters and sweet classics such as churros, crêpes, waffles or roasted almonds - there is something for every taste. In the beer gardens or at the cocktail bar, you can relax and enjoy the hustle and bustle. Every Friday evening from around 10 p.m., a firework display lights up the Berlin night sky! Another special highlight on July 30 and August 6 is a visit from princesses and superheroes, who will be sure to put a smile on your face and provide plenty of photo opportunities.
