80 Jahre Kriegsende

The Second World War ended 80 years ago on May 8. For Germany, as the then Federal President said 40 years ago, it was a day of liberation. But what happened afterwards? What became of this Germany? Where are we today and how did we become what we are? The politician, author, lawyer and presenter Gregor Gysi will address these questions in his lecture at the RHEIN SIEG FORUM. The lecture will be accompanied by music from the soprano Valerie Haunz and the Georgian pianist Sofi Simeonidis with works by Kurt Weill and Hans Eisler.
