9. Bremer Lastenradrennen / 3. United Cargobike Race

In the organizer's words:

Race track right through Bremen's tobacco district, with beautiful bends around the corners of the houses, the odd chicane, the obligatory indoor passage and transport challenges: United Cargobike Race the third!
In different classifications, fast tires, logistical finesse and fun cargo-carrying, solo or in a mixed team, are what count.
The Family Race is not about speed for young and old, but about having fun with fast games, good teamwork and balancing acts.

All you need to take part is to enjoy cargo biking, have some expertise on the handlebars and be able to stow the load on your own cargo bike. Racing experience or particularly thick calves are not necessary.

At the end of the race day, trophies and prizes will not only go to the fastest riders: a raffle will offer a lottery with further prizes for all participants.

For long-distance travelers, the Race-Hotel unique in Tabakquartier has a contingent of discounted rooms for race participants. Information is available on request after registration.
