In 1982, the Palestinian Research Center in Beirut was raided during the Israeli invasion and its archive - historical records of Palestine, fragments of history, struggles and aspirations - was looted. 'A Fidai Film' explores how the images, once confiscated and hidden in Israeli archives, become silent witnesses to a history of dispossession. In a bold act of cinematic resistance, Aljafari reassembles the visual memory of Palestine, blurring the boundaries between documentary and experimental film.
