Saturday, May 17, 2025 | 2 - 10 pm Elsenstraße/Puschkinallee/Am Treptower Park Get off the highway to hell and into the bright future

Before the imminent opening of the 16th section of the A100 freeway, we - a diverse alliance of civil society, club and subcultural venues, neighborhood initiatives, cultural workers, climate and environmental activists, queer feminist groups and many more - are demonstrating together against the further construction of the A100 and for a Berlin worth living in for everyone.

The highway construction cements fossil capitalism, destroys urban space, green areas and residential buildings, displaces clubs and businesses and drives the climate crisis.

We demand

- an end to this destructive project

- an end to the further construction of the A100 and all plans for it.

- an end to car-compliant urban planning - a city for all people with affordable housing

- a climate-friendly, solidarity-based mobility transition. In the afternoon, we will celebrate an exuberant and family-friendly street protest. When there are no cars clogging the streets, people take the space, come together, children play on the asphalt: whether it's cabaret, picnics, chalk, tricycle parcours ... Bring your frisbees and friends.

In the evening, we'll turn up the music. Bass against concrete and hate. Together with clubs, other affected cultural institutions and numerous collectives, we make it clear: streets are there to meet. Let's dance together! The FLINTAQ* Openair also offers a safe space for FLINTAQ* people. There will be speeches on our political demands on all stages. A panel discussion will delve deeper into the topics.
