The outrageous Abba tribute concert

ABBA is cult: lots of fans and haters, and catchy tunes that even the haters can sing along to. Tilo Nest, Hanno Friedrich and Alexander Paeffgen on the piano vary the well-known Swedish snacks with abysmal finesse and full physical commitment and embark on a hilarious and irreverent odyssey through all corners of world music. Courageous dance performances and fisticuffs spice up the musical smörgåsbord that has been delighting audiences from Gothenburg to Vienna for two and a half decades.

"Gammal kärlek rostar aldrig", says the Swede. Old love never rusts. For 27 years, the three gentlemen in tails have been looking forward to popping the aquavit corks with "ABBA Jetzt!". They prove beyond doubt that with ABBA's music you don't grow old together, you stay young together.

The audience was convulsed with laughter, thrilled and moved in equal measure. BZ
