Abfallgeschichten. Ein Stadtspaziergang rund ums Thema Müll.

In the organizer's words:

Collecting waste and learning about waste at the same time? On this somewhat different city tour through Altona, we look down rather than up. Between the train station and Altona town hall, we'll see what we can find on the footpaths and in the green areas that has been thrown away, dropped and carelessly disposed of - and, let's be clear, we'll find quite a bit...

Along the way, you'll learn all sorts of entertaining facts (or should I say 'trivia'?), such as who came up with the idea of lids on coffee-to-go cups, whether the first popsicle really came from Hamburg and whether the EU will soon be banning bakery bags. There will also be lots of useful information about alternatives to the products and packaging we have found. Of course, there will also be time to share your sustainability tips and personal waste stories!

An offer for: Waste enthusiasts, those fascinated by littering, clean-up enthusiasts, new and veteran ecologists, people with an interest in consumer history and the history of advertising, sociologists of civilization and anyone who wants to get to know Altona "from below".
