For over 50 years, Abi Wallenstein has been capturing the hearts of blues fans with his warm-hearted charisma and has already achieved cult-like fame. His unique fingerpicking style is a fascinating mixture of delta blues and rock elements: Powerful, rhythmic and full of joyful playing. But it is first and foremost Wallenstein's voice that inspires. It sounds hoarse and smoky, yet conjures up so much heart and soul in its swinging tones that it makes you forget any technically perfect singing. He captivates the audience like no other, seemingly effortlessly. In December, the father of the Hamburg blues scene celebrates his 80th birthday!

At Abi's side is the British harmonica master Steve Baker. His playing style is funky, melodic and elegant. Drawing on the blues tradition, he combines elements of country, folk, funk and rock to create an exciting and individual fusion that immediately touches the hearts of the audience and generates a creative tension that fascinates.

Rhythm player Martin Röttger also makes a significant contribution to the music with his sometimes explosive and powerful, sometimes elastic and soft beats. Like no other, he knows how to perfectly capture Wallenstein's idiosyncratic grooves and support them with confidence.

The light-footed interplay between the three musicians is unique and repeatedly leads to magnificent moments that arise spontaneously from the flow of improvisation. Instead of sterile perfection, the three focus on pure emotion set to music.
